Remember when the cast of Vanderpump Rules got into catty fights and screaming matches? Ah, those were the days. Now they just cry. Honestly, it’s heartbreaking to see how these once-close friendships and relationships have been ripped apart, but it’s also wildly entertaining. And the season 11 reunion promises to take it to the next level.
In the reunion teaser trailer, which dropped on May 6, reunion host Andy Cohen introduces a new twist: the cast, including SUR matriarch Lisa Vanderpump, will watch the final scenes of the season, live, together. And we know their real-time reactions will be dramatic because…well, if they weren’t, it wouldn’t be in the trailer.
There’s a mysterious “seven hours earlier” title card and a lot of backstage-at-the-reunion footage, perhaps setting up a last-minute twist. Lala Kent has her game face on. What’s about to go down? (Ariana Madix also jokes that one of her dresses gives her “neck vagina…like Donald Trump” which is certainly the Ariana we know and love.)
The clips also tease more fallout of Scandoval, the cheating scandal that ripped apart Madix and Tom Sandoval, formerly the squad’s most solid couple. Sandoval looks seriously upset, telling Madix, “You know me well enough to know that this is not acting,” to which Madix responds with a devastating, “I don’t.”
Madix reiterates her desire to go no-contact with Sandoval, which is tricky since they work together on Vanderpump Rules. “I just want you away from me. I just want you gone,” she says. Kent begs to be allowed to live her real life, Tom Schwartz’s girlfriend, Sophia Skoro, is hurt by Katie Maloney, who is typically stone-faced, and Scheana Shay is Making Points And Gesturing With Her Hands, because that’s the Scheana Shay playbook. The more things change!
