What started with suspicious comments on social media has now progressed to anonymous confirmations from “insiders” and “sources” speaking to outlets like Us Weekly and People. Meanwhile, neither party has officially confirmed or denied that they are breaking up.

November 15, 2024: An anonymous source tells Us Weekly that Simpson and Johnson are separated and “trying to figure out a separation without disrupting their kids’ lives as much as possible.” Another insider told the magazine “Jessica is heartbroken” and said the split was “not an easy decision for her.”
November 13, 2024: TMZ publishes photos of Johnson out without his wedding ring on, further fueling divorce speculation. Meanwhile, an anonymous source told People magazine that Johnson and Simpson have been living separately. “She’s working on music and splits her time between Los Angeles and Nashville. Eric spends all of his time in L.A, where the kids go to school. Jess and Eric very much live separate lives,” the source claimed.
