Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes were back to their old selves at the US Open.
The pair’s well-documented friendship has been called into question since Mahomes was accused of liking a pro-Trump post on Instagram late last month. Despite allegedly deleting the “like,” Brittany appeared to doubled-down on her political views while calling out her “haters” on Instagram, leading many Swifties to predict the pop star would cut the NFL WAG out of her inner circle—especially after the pair sat separately at the first Kansas City Chiefs game of the season on September 5.
Now, it seems those fan theories have been debunked. On September 8, Brittany and Patrick Mahomes joined TNT at the US Open, where Taylor and Brittany were photographed embracing each other like besties, with the pop star taking a moment to snap a photo of Brittany and Travis. In one fan-recorded video they were even seen bringing back their usual dance moves.
These images appear to match the energy Taylor and Brittany brought to last year’s NFL season, where they would celebrate their partners athletic prowess with secret handshakes and matching game-day fits.
