Say it ain’t so, Severance season 2 has come to an end.
Ever since the first season dropped on Apple TV+ in 2022, we’ve been gripped. The inventive premise sets the scene at the fictional Lumon Industries, where workers’ brains are severed—they live one life inside the office, and another outside. After they are severed, they effectively become two completely different people.
This season, we’ve seen the office innies and their outies beginning to interact as the innies strive to find answers about the mysterious Lumon industries, where they work. The 75-minute season finale lands today, and most reviewers already agree that it’s one of the best episodes of the gripping series so far. You have two options—you could go outie and unplug from your screen, or, you could stay innie and get lost in a brand new mind-bending sci-fi thriller.

Westworld
If you’re hooked on Severance, Westworld will undoubtedly be right up your alley. The HBO show was inspired by a classic ’70s sci-fi film about a futuristic, immersive western theme park where guests can playact alongside life-like robots. In the HBO series, the robots become sentient, understanding their false reality, and, naturally, western-themed chaos ensues. Season 1 is especially gripping with a plot twist that is truly Severance-worthy.
