Residencies, Workshops, & Fellowships

Crosstown Arts – 2025 Residencies
Artists and curators are invited to apply for two–three-month residencies in Memphis, Tennessee. These are fully funded and include a private studio workspace, a membership to Crosstown Arts’s on-site shared art-making workspace, and more. The application fee is $20.

National Parks Arts Foundation – Chaco Culture National Historic Park Artists Residency
Open to artists working in any medium, this month-long residency in October 2024 includes a $2,000 stipend and housing at an ancient metropolis in New Mexico, one of the vital crossroads of Anasazi-Chacoan culture. The application fee is $60.

Peters Valley School of Craft – Maxwell/Hanrahan Guest Artist Residencies
Artists who work in blacksmithing, ceramics, fibers, jewelry/fine metals, painting/collage, or printmaking can apply for this fully funded residency in rural New Jersey, which includes a $500 stipend for two weeks ($1,000 for one month). The application fee is $10.

Springboard for the Arts – Rural Regenerator Fellowship
Artists, culture bearers, grassroots organizers, and other changemakers from Upper-Midwestern rural communities will receive an unrestricted stipend of $10,000 to participate in two years of peer learning and exchange.

Mattie Kelly Arts Center Galleries at Northwest Florida State College – 32nd Annual Emerald Coast National Juried Art Exhibition
Guest juried by Sarah Knobel, the Best-in-Show winner will receive $1,000 and a solo show at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center Galleries, typically held during the next season’s Emerald Coast National Exhibition. The application fee is $30 for three entries.

Center for Performance Research (CPR) – Fall Movement 2024
Individual artists, collectives, and companies are encouraged to submit proposals for live performance works lasting 15–20 minutes. Five performers will each receive a $350 honorarium and present their work in Brooklyn in December.

SPRING/BREAK Art Show – INT./EXT. (interior/exterior)
The curator-driven art fair seeks exhibitions for its NYC show this fall. The theme is INT./EXT. (interior/exterior), inspired by exploring more than meets the eye. The application fee is $150.

Wave Hill – 2025 Sunroom Project Space
NYC-area emerging artists can submit proposals to develop a site-specific project as a solo exhibition at Wave Hill. Five will each receive an honorarium of $2,000 while one artist will receive $6,000 to present a site-specific project or performance series.

Zealous – Embracing Our Differences
Artists from around the world can submit work to this outdoor show in Southwest Florida reflecting its theme, Embracing Our Differences. The exhibition will be displayed in multiple locations from January through April 2025. Three “Best-in-Show” artworks will each be awarded a $2,000 prize.

The Bennett Prize – 2024/2025 Award Cycle
For women figurative realist painters. The grand prize is $50,000 and a solo show, with an additional finalist receiving $10,000. A four-person jury will select 10 finalists to be featured in a group exhibition that will travel the US. The application fee is $40. Read more on Hyperallergic.

Forman Arts Initiative x Philadelphia Foundation – Art Works
Four visual and performing artists in Greater Philadelphia who have experience working with and connection to local communities can apply for two-year grants of $25,000 per year.

MSCHF Fellowship
The MSCHF Fellowship awards up to $1,000 to students and recent graduates engaged in creating work about the “Spicy Present.” Pitch something ambitious, interesting, and original on a scale that you can execute in its entirety. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Wilmers Integrity Prize
Each year, the $50,000 Robert G. Wilmers Integrity Prize honors an individual striving to better our world. Efforts in the arts, education, environmentalism, social justice, social reform, and other fields are eligible. You can apply for yourself or nominate someone else.
