In the wake of motherhood, Kylie Jenner continues to reflect on the beauty standards that she and her family have worked tirelessly to promote.
During the season finale of The Kardashians, the 25-year-old reality star confirmed she got plastic surgery prior to welcoming her daughter, Stormi Webster, in 2018. “You know I got my breasts done before Stormi,” Jenner told her friend Stassi Karanikolaou, per BuzzFeed. “Within six months of having Stormi, not thinking I would have a child when I was 20. Like, they were still healing.”
Jenner then expressed regret over the procedure, saying, “I had beautiful breasts, like, natural tits. Just gorgeous, perfect size, perfect everything. I just wish, obviously, I never got them done, to begin with.”
According to People, Jenner continued, “Obviously, I have a daughter, too; I would be heartbroken if she wanted to get her body done at 19. She’s the most beautiful thing ever. I want to be the best mom and best example for her, and like I wish I could be her, do it all differently. I wouldn’t touch anything.”
This episode aired not long after Kylie Jenner denied regretting her famous lip fillers. “I think a big misconception about me is that I’ve had so much surgery on my face and that I was some insecure person, and I really wasn’t,” she told Hommegirls in April. “Yeah, I love full lips and wanted full lips, but growing up I was always the most confident person in the room. I was the girl performing for everyone. I had my one lip insecurity thing, so I got lip filler, and it was the best thing I’ve ever done. I don’t regret it. But I always thought I was cute.”
Still, she said that becoming a mother to Stormi and her one-year-old son, Aire Webster, changed her perspective on her own features. “[Motherhood has] made me love myself more,” she said. “I see my features in my daughter and my son now, but you know, my daughter looks like me. I get to see my beauty in her, and it’s made me love myself more for sure.”
Despite this flourishing self-confidence, Jenner was recently out here publically bashing her appearance while using TikTok’s old-age filter… She’s working on it.
