Did Travis Scott just call out his ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner over her rumored relationship with Timothée Chalamet? Fans sure think so!
The 32-year-old rapper appears to reference the alleged couple in his new song “Meltdown,” which was released on July 28. For a smidge of context, Scott and Jenner have dated on and off for years and share two children: five-year-old Stormi and one-year-old Aire Webster. However, just a few months after their most recent split in December 2022, the Internet spiraled over rumors that the 25-year-old reality star moved on with 27-year-old Oscar nominee, Timothée Chalamet.
Since the rumors first surfaced in April, Jenner’s car has been spotted at Chalamet’s Beverly Hills home on multiple occasions and photos of the pair were finally published in June. Still, Scott’s recent track is probably the most compelling evidence that something is going on.
Though Scott doesn’t mention the actor by name, the “Meltdown” lyrics include a reference to Willy Wonka, the iconic character Chalamet is playing in the upcoming film, Wonka. “Chocolate AP and chocolate the Vs (Vs), got the Willy Wonka factory (Vs),” Scott raps, per Genius. “Burn a athlete like it’s calories, find another flame hot as me, bitch.”
Is this a diss directed at Chalamet? Fans think so! “Never in my life would I’ve thought to witness Travis Scott dissing Timothée Chalamet,” one Twitter (X?) user tweeted.
