Ariana Grande is continuing to be a low-key, devoted girlfriend to Ethan Slater, her Wicked co-star who is currently starring in Spamalot on Broadway. She attended the musical revival’s first preview and, from the looks of it, had a great time!
Slater—who originated the role of SpongeBob in the Squarepants musical—plays The Historian and Prince Herbert in the spoof show based on Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The show is super funny and I listen to the OBC (original Broadway cast recording) in the car sometimes, and I really want to see the new production, but anyway. Grande was papped leaving the show looking positively ebullient in on-trend shades of brown, and a fellow audience member was kind/creepy enough to film her during the curtain call.

According to People, Grande has been a “big supporter” of Slater’s new gig and “already has plans to go again.” Sure, what else is she gonna do?
“She has seen it during tech rehearsals,” said their source. “She was so sweet last night, taking pictures with fans and gushing about how much she was enjoying the performances. She’s a theater kid at her core, so you see she really feels at peace being around Broadway.” You know what? I can see that. I can really, totally see that.
Grande attended the performance with her brother Frankie and her friend Doug Middlebrook.
